I am a Disco Dancer !!

I remember, one of my friend singing and dancing to the tune of 'I am a disco dancer' when I was very very young.<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JdEZoffm-Q> May be that was the first time I ever got excited about the dance. I have always been interested in dance and that might be the reason to become a big fan of a Telugu actor 'Chiranjeevi', who is very good at dance.<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYQ5VJjrmLs> Being a shy kid, through out my childhood, I hardly ever practiced dance or shown the interest to perform. Whenever I see someone dancing and people clapping to it, used to excite me a lot.

The one song brought the dancer out of me I should say was Prabhudeva's chikubuku raile from the movie 'Gentleman'.<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ5ftjlJ3os&feature=related> I was super amazed by his movements and flexibility. I am sure that song shook the entire India and made many people to get interested to learn modern dance. Since then, I started practicing some dance movements especially, one @ 2.04 from that song. When I was in 11th class, I met this guy 'Chandra Sekhar' who is good at dance, to whom I started showing my dance skills. I actually planned and prepared to perform for freshers party that time but didn't work for some reason. Later, when I was in the hostel taking coaching for the medical entrance exam, I did perform to one of my friend's birthday party for which everybody appreciated me. I guess, that boosted my confidence at dance.

Second time, I performed was for Christmas party when I was in 2nd MBBS. I remember, I was dancing so fast, people around me took our prof's kid away from me thinking that my hands or legs may hit him. It wasn't a satisfactory show for me. Then, I planned to perform for new year's party along with my friend 'John' for a music bit. I took it serious as it's gonna be a first ever stage show for me with most of my profs and friends around. I choreographed myself for my portion placing nicely all of the movements I practiced. I was so much involved in performing literally didn't see or hear anything except for a classmate of mine sitting in the front giving an expression of 'WOW' with wide open eyes at the end. I received lots of appreciation from my profs and friends and finally the show was a HIT.

Cheers.

P.S

1) My stage show was completely satisfactory except for something.

2) My most favorite song which evokes me to dance is <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNJL6nfu__Q>

3) The best compliment I ever received was 'Don't you have bones?' (Though a routine compliment but coming from a girl who doesn't know me....!!)

4) I usually won't dance when someone is around. If I do, that indicates I am very much comfortable with him/her.

5) My body acquired the flexibility from being good at games during childhood.

6) If someone feels that I am good at dance it's purely because of no expectations from my performance.

7) Finally...Me suffering from ankle sprain for the past 3 months, missing all the dancing at home and feel handicapped while lesioning to the music.
